Geisinger offers fellowships in a number of medical subspecialties, and is now pleased to offer a fellowship experience in general internal medicine (GIM) for those seeking careers as clinician-educators or clinician-researchers.

The GIM fellowship, sponsored by Geisinger's Department of General Internal Medicine, provides graduates of medical residency programs a transitional period, free from large clinical burdens, during which they can develop skills in education and research. This experience prepares fellows for careers in teaching and academic programs nationally.

All GIM fellows have opportunities to take advantage of Geisinger's nationally recognized expertise in:
