Teaching

Maternal fetal medicine fellows have the opportunity to teach junior fellows, residents and third and fourth year medical students. This occurs both on a formal basis via monthly didactic lectures and on an informal basis at the bedside and at morning board report.

In addition, the fellows have a dedicated high-risk resident clinic that they run under the supervision of an attending perinatologist. This clinic allows high-risk patients continuity of care and provides fellows with the opportunity to supervise and teach. Fellows also prepare and present a grand rounds during the course of their training.
