Our Procedural Dermatology fellowship provides superb training in the removal of skin cancers, reconstruction of surgical wounds, and performance of a broad range of dermatologic surgical procedures. Our large patient volume provides ample opportunities to develop excellent surgical skills and to feel comfortable managing difficult surgical cases.

The dermatologic surgery service is vital and growing, with the addition of two dermatologic surgeons in July 2002, a fourth in 2007, a fifth in 2008 and a sixth in 2009.  While most of the fellowship experience occurs at our campus in Danville, we provide fellowship training at our Geisinger Dermatologic Surgery clinic in Wilkes-Barre and State College, PA. We truly believe that our combination of high patient volume, surgical expertise, and patient service excellence make this a fellowship that is unsurpassed.
