The application process begins with an application submitted to the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). Paper applications are not accepted.

Make sure your application is filled out completely and accurately along with indication of dual placement or other pertinent information. You may want to consider adding a photograph to personalize your application.

Program requirements for international medical graduates:

  • Recent U.S. clinical training in an ACGME approved program (at least 3 months) and three letters from program
  • Recent graduate of medical school preferred
  • Valid ECFMG certificate including CSA Exam
  • Principal/Dean's letter & transcript
  • Pass USMLE first attempt - USMLE transcript required
