Geisinger Health System is a nationally recognized physician-led integrated system of health care, which includes three hospitals, an alcohol and chemical dependency facility, a health plan, and research facilities for both basic science and clinical outcomes. With more than 800 employed physicians and primary care sites located in more than 30 counties, Geisinger is able to provide primary and subspecialty health care to more than two million people residing in central Pennsylvania. Our residents have the opportunity to learn all aspects of internal medicine, from primary care to the most specialized and innovative techniques, yet live without crime, traffic or other big-city stress.
