Geisinger becomes the first member of Risant Health

V. Chris Holcombe, PE

Chris Holcombe was appointed to the Geisinger Health Board of Directors in May 2024. He is a member of Geisinger Health Plan, Geisinger Quality Options Inc., and Geisinger Indemnity Insurance Company and the Geisinger Affiliate Boards of Directors. 

Mr. Holcombe is president of Milton Steel Company located in Milton, PA. He has held the position of president since 2011 and has been employed at Milton Steel since 1990. Milton Steel is a subsidiary of Acrow Corporation of America, the world leader in modular bridge construction. Acrow has developed and implemented bridge infrastructure projects in over 150 countries across Africa, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East, including many bridges recently in Ukraine. Mr. Holcombe is responsible for the operation and management of the fabrication facility in Milton. He is involved in business strategy and execution, production line design, plant management, quality programs, and has experience in supply chain management, and mergers and acquisitions. 

He is a Professional Engineer licensed in Pennsylvania, a Welding Engineer certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) and is active in the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).

Mr. Holcombe was born and raised in Milton and graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree in 1990. He started full time employment at Milton Steel after graduation.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Acrow Corporation of America.  Former board memberships include Milton Area Industrial Development Association and St. Joseph’s School in Danville. He is a member and past president of the Milton Lions Club.

Mr. Holcombe and his wife Erin live in Danville, PA. They have four children, Colin, Paige, Shane, and Gavin.
