| Work Hours As an ACGME accredited program, we abide by the 80-hour workweek for residents. This applies to medical students as well. Our schedules are carefully constructed to offer maximal learning experienced while staying within regulatory work limitations. Your respective schools have informed us of your start and end dates, as well as any days you are required to be back at school. If a situation arises where you need time away, you must have prior approval from both the clerkship director and your attending. Unapproved missed days will be reflected on your end-of-rotation evaluation. There is no overnight call |
