GMC focus on quality and patient safety recognized

Geisinger Medical Center has been awarded four out of five stars in the overall hospital quality star ratings.
The hospital ratings are publicly available online using a tool known as Care Compare. The tool makes it easy to review the quality of care hospitals provide to their patients. With it, consumers can select multiple hospitals and compare the safety and quality performance measure information related to heart attack, CHF, pneumonia, surgery and more against each other.
