All applications must be submitted through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities™ (VSLO®)
Electives are offered primarily to clinical campus students. The remainder of the electives are filled on a competitive basis. You must be from an LCME or AOA accredited medical school to do an elective rotation at Geisinger. Electives may be offered at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) located in Danville, PA, Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, or select community practice sites throughout the Geisinger Health System.
