COVID-19

Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) recognizes that students and their applications have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As we enter the 2023 application cycle, the Admissions Committee is committed to assisting applicants.

We are aware that many undergraduate and graduate institutions have moved courses to an online format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though we typically do not accept courses taken in this format, the Admissions Committee has made an exception under these circumstances. In addition, we will also accept pass/fail grades for semesters impacted by COVID-19.
