Announcements and updates
Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) has launched a new, affordable, flexible and interactive Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) online program!
Please note that we will not be offering our in-person program at this time. We are monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely and will determine when on-campus operations can resume.
We understand that your graduate education is about a goal, a plan, an ambition. And nothing should derail your pursuit of your dreams. Our updated program format and pricing is a direct response to the many requests for new options during this time.
Our MBS program is 33 credits, with the cost of tuition at $1,020/credit, and no housing costs! Additional student fees apply.
Our quarterly semester system provides greater flexibility. You can choose how quickly you wish to complete the program: full-time (9+ credits/quarter) or part-time (5-8 credits/quarter). Either way, you'll be on track to complete the program on your timeline, whether you're looking to apply to professional school (such as medical, dental or optometry) or gain entry into a health-related field.
As an online student, you won’t miss out on the camaraderie and social interaction of on-campus life. We’ve made our online environment richer and more interactive, and our faculty and educational technology team are committed to delivering effective, rigorous instruction.
