Ways to give back

Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine alumni can give back in many ways. As an alumnus, you can join the alumni society, attend an event, volunteer your time, mentor a current student, donate monetarily and much more.

Geisinger Commonwealth Alumni Scholarship

The Charter Class of 2013 created the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine Alumni Scholarship and subsequent classes have generously continued the support. Through this scholarship, alumni have the opportunity to engage in truly making a difference in the lives of current and future Geisinger Commonwealth students. Donate now!

MD4 Class Gift

Contribute to the MD4 Class Gift, and optionally make a gift in honor of someone who has had an impact on your life.

Helping Our Students Travel (HOST) program

Every year, medical students prepare for the next stage of their training and travel the country for exciting — and sometimes stressful — residency interviews. You can help them in this stage of their journey by volunteering to host a student visiting your area. Enjoy a cup of coffee together, show them around your town and, in turn, find out what’s new at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Whether you provide a place to sleep, transportation to and from the airport or simply invite them to share a meal, you are truly helping a student as they prepare for life beyond medical school.
