Biography
Following a two-year stint as a fifth-grade teacher in rural New York, Jeffrey S. Pallas, PA-C, was introduced to a career in medicine through the new (at the time) concept of physician assistants in the early 1970s. Following his acceptance and graduation from Hahnemann Medical College, he began and completed a 41-year career that included emergency medicine, internal medicine and family medicine, predominantly in the Pocono Mountain, Pa. area. He retired from clinical practice in 2017 and since that time has transitioned to his role as Physician and Patient Centered Care 2 (PPCC2) core faculty, instructor of clinical and communication skills for MD1 and MD2 students, facilitator for Case-Based Learning 2 (CBL2) and grading and student review of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) for MD3 students, among other roles at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.Education
