Biography
Mathangi Rajaram-Gilkes, MBBS, MSc, MS.MEd, graduated in India and started her medical career as a physician in intensive and critical care units. She served as a senior medical officer in the emergency department, attached to the Ministry of Health, Government of Grenada, West Indies, for eight years. Following this, Dr. Rajaram-Gilkes joined Saint George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Anatomical Sciences, serving as associate professor and vice chair, teaching students with great passion and acting as an excellent mentor for 16 years. She served concurrently as the director of Pre-Professional Programs of Saint George’s University, managing the curriculum for premedical sciences, foundation and post-baccalaureate programs.Dr. Rajaram-Gilkes is now an enthusiastic faculty member in the Department of Medical Education at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. She is a member of several anatomical associations.
