Employer matching gifts
You can double or even triple your financial contribution to Geisinger Commonwealth if you or your spouse’s employer has a matching gift program. Check with your employer’s human resources/benefits department for eligibility and matching gift forms.
Stocks and securities
Gifts of publicly-traded securities, closely held stocks and mutual funds will not only benefit Geisinger Commonwealth, but can also be beneficial to you by minimizing taxes. Contact the Development Office at 570-207-3697 or firstname.lastname@example.org for transfer instructions.
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a mechanism that simplifies the administrative burden of fulfilling your philanthropic objectives. DAFs offer the favorable tax benefits of giving directly to charities with added flexibility around timing of gifts. If you have a DAF with Fidelity Charitable or Schwab Charitable, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to Geisinger Commonwealth directly from your fund, and you can use the box on the right to designate them for your preferred use, such as scholarships or research.

Items of tangible personal property (including art, collectibles, books or equipment) and other personal assets or materials of value may be donated to Geisinger Commonwealth. Contact the Development Office at 570-207-3697 to discuss your proposed gift.
