Rotations consist of one month assignments to GI procedures, GI lab (includes manometry, pH studies and capsule endoscopy), GI consults, hepatology consults, and nutrition. Evidence-based medicine is assigned in one month blocks and as requested during the academic year. Separate hepatology and gastroenterology continuity clinics are held each week. The hepatology rotation includes a weekly transplant clinic. The nutrition rotation includes malnutrition, high-risk obesity, and tube feeding clinics.
