*PGY1 residents do 0 full blocks of internal medicine wards, night float or ambulatory medicine. Each block is split as follows:
  • 5 blocks = 2 weeks GIM wards, 2 weeks ambulatory medicine
  • 2 blocks = 2 weeks GIM wards, 2 weeks night float
  • 1 block = 2 weeks GIM wards, 2 weeks vacation

**Subspecialty selectives

  • Endocrinology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, infectious disease, endocrinology, nephrology, pulmonary, hematology, oncology
  • All residents will rotate through each of the eight subspecialty selectives once in either their PGY2 or PGY3 year
