The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is an ASHP-accredited residency program. We have three residency positions and participate in the ASHP Resident Matching Program as well as the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service. The applicant must submit the following materials via PhORCAS:

  • Letter of intent outlining career objectives
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Academic (school of pharmacy) transcripts
  • Three professional recommendations

Also required are a PharmD or equivalent degree (from an ACPE-accredited school or college) and to be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Licensure requirements are available at the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy website. Applicants should ensure that they have the required number of intern hours prior to application.

The deadline for application is Dec. 30. The residency begins July 1 and ends June 30. Individual interviews are required and are scheduled by invitation. Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. All candidates will be notified regarding the status of their application by Jan. 30.

As an ASHP Resident Matching Program site participant, this site agrees that no person at this site will solicit, accept or use any ranking related information from any residency applicant.
