AtlantiCare Campus (Atlantic City)
An integrated system, AtlantiCare is its region’s largest healthcare organization and largest non-casino employer. It has two hospitals.

These locations offer:
- 1,065 physicians and providers
- 593 licensed beds
- Advanced certification for comprehensive stroke centers and primary stroke center
- Advanced certification for inpatient diabetes care
- Center for cardiac care
AtlantiCare’s more than 6,000 staff, and providers serve the community in more than 110 locations in five southern New Jersey counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May and southern Ocean. AtlantiCare also offers Atlantic City's only cancer institute, heart institute, and neonatal intensive care unit.
AtlantiCare the sponsoring institution for ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Psychiatry programs. It’s also home to a PGY 1 ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency program and rotating medical residents from different institutions in the tri-state area.

Calling itself the “Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore,” Atlantic City is known for its casinos and nightlife. It’s a walkable city with plenty to do. And it’s surrounded by historical landmarks like the Absecon Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the nation.

Student Affairs

Research
Residents and medical students at AtlantiCare participate in a variety of research activities and their work is shared during Medical Education Research Day activities. You’ll have every opportunity for scholarship and academic growth. Whether you choose to participate in a research project or not, you’ll be able to do it here at the AtlantiCare campus or with the Medical Research Honors Program (MRHP).
