Salary, benefits and employment highlights
Neuropsychology residents at Geisinger are salaried employees. The current stipend is at least $47,486.
Residents also receive $3,000 to be used for educational purposes (conferences, books, seminars, etc.), along with 10 continuing education days.
Benefits include but are not limited to:
- Insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision)
- PTO/vacation time (9 days; increases to 11 days for second year of residency)
- Personal days (6 days)

COVID-19 vaccine mandate
Effective Nov. 5, 2021, all Geisinger employees, medical staff, residents, fellows, trainees, students, volunteers and temporary staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An exemption process is available for those who have a documented and very specific medical reason or sincerely held religious belief that precludes them from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
