As our nephrology fellow, you’ll be immersed in a challenging program that includes extensive clinical experience, training in communication and an extensive conference schedule. Your training will include:
Weekly didactic lectures delivered by attending staff and fellows
Weekly workshops with practice of high-yield topics in nephrology using a board-review style question-and-answer approach
Monthly journal club
Monthly renal biopsy conferences alternating native renal pathology cases with transplant pathology cases (in conjunction with the Department of Pathology)
Monthly research conferences where fellows present research-in-progress
Monthly clinical pathological conferences, where a fellow presents a case, the clinical course and outcome followed by a brief review of the disease entity with its management
Monthly grand rounds on important topics in medicine, delivered by visiting professors
Monthly renal grand rounds with visiting speakers
Co-specialty conferences
Weekly transplant conferences to review candidates
