Criteria for selection
This is a Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training (CAST)-approved fellowship open to neurologists, neurosurgeons and radiologists. Specific prerequisites slightly by specialty. Consult the CAST website for more information.

In general, this CAST neuroendovascular fellowship is offered to graduates of American and international neurosurgical programs. Applicants must be eligible for a Pennsylvania State Medical Training License and must obtain the license prior to beginning the fellowship. To obtain a Pennsylvania State Medical Training License, candidates are required to have completed three years of residency training in the United States or Canada. Foreign applicants must have passed the ECFMG or FMGEMS, as well as the FLEX exams. Any decisions about recognition of foreign training or equivalency of training will be made by the program leadership. Submit your applications to Sarah Kline.

  • Three letters of recommendation
  • USMLE/COMLEX score report
  • Medical school diploma
  • Verification of completion of residency
  • Certified copy of currently valid ECFMG certificate (applicable for international medical graduates only)
