Hobbies: I love cooking fusion dishes where I mix different cuisines. I also like bike riding in the summertime.
Why Geisinger? Having had attendings that trained in the Geisinger system, I always heard great things about Geisinger. I chose Geisinger sleep fellowship because I was looking for a high-volume center to give me the opportunity to see a wide variety of cases, from idiopathic hypersomnia to the daily bread-and-butter cases, such as OSA. In addition, having good mentorship was important to me and I felt this during my interview. Lastly, additional training in respiratory failure was an added bonus and made my decision fairly easy!

So, when the opportunity arose to train in sleep medicine at Geisinger, I did not think twice. This fellowship offers a wide range of training, from sleep apnea to RLS to more complex ventilator management of neuromuscular respiratory failure. The hallmark of this program is training under a multidisciplinary sleep faculty, which makes learning sleep medicine all the more exciting.
