Mental health resources
Employee assistance
When Geisinger residents and fellows need help for behavioral health, personal or professional concerns, they can access GuidanceResources, the employee assistance program. This employee benefit is free. Calling 1-888-327-4623 connects the caller to a live, trained triage representative who will give you a list of providers and free counseling sessions in your area. Identify yourself as a “member” (that means employee) if you are calling for yourself or your family (family members covered by your Geisinger insurance can also access free services), or “manager” if you are calling on behalf of one of your residents or fellows. You can call this triage to ask for advice on how to help someone too, if you are not sure.
Download our EAP flyer for more information.
