Health Economics Research and Evaluation

The Health Economics Research and Evaluation (HERE) core provides systematic value-based analysis of healthcare programs and interventions. Our studies bridge research and practice by targeting efficiently and effectively improving healthcare-related outcomes addressing perspectives of patients, providers, healthcare systems, payers and regulators. HERE focus areas include:

HERE investigators support collaborative research efforts by serving as principal investigators or co-investigators on research projects by providing expertise in study design, methods, measurement of the health economic-related outcomes and value, acquisition and analysis of health economic data, and author/co-author manuscripts, posters and other publications.

Our staff address complex problems in health services research, population health, healthcare financing and policy using research principles and scientific approaches in economics, statistics, econometrics, business and data analytics to complement biostatistics, epidemiology and clinical medicine.
