We can help!

Our full service research team uses trained professional staff, 12 computerized workstations and a focus group room. Staff can perform computer assisted telephone interviewing (CATI), recruit for a focus group, field a web survey, enter data or distribute printed mail surveys.

To ensure the highest quality of data collection, interviewers complete a comprehensive training program focused on customer service and telephone etiquette. Courses required by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) are also completed to help interviewers understand the sensitivity of research conducted with human subjects. Survey calling projects are monitored by management staff and interviewer performance statistics are evaluated.

Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI)

Using CATI software, survey staff can conduct large and small-scale phone surveys targeting populations anywhere in the U.S. Trained interviewers are available to place calls from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday (EST).

Clinical Trial and Focus Group Recruitment

Studies show that up to 80 percent of clinical trials do not meet their recruitment goals within stated time frames and that the effort needed to accomplish recruitment is often overlooked. The Survey Research and Recruitment Core can provide the focused effort needed to meet your study's recruitment goals. Staff can perform telephone screenings to guarantee that participants qualify under your study protocol.

Focus group recruitment, done to your specifications, allows you to collect thoughts and opinions from a diverse, representative group.

Focus Group Facilities

The state-of-the-art focus group room at the Henry Hood Center for Health Research is handicapped accessible and sound-proof. It includes an observation room with audio and video recording capabilities.

Email Survey

We can help you design your survey and send it to your sample via email. Detailed reports on emails sent, emails failed, surveys started and surveys finished are available. Data can be exported into Excel, CSV or SPSS formats. Reminder emails and second mailings to non-responders to increase response rates are standard practice.

Mail Surveys

Survey staff can build and mail your paper surveys, assist with tracking of surveys sent and received and data entry. National Change of Address software is applied to the sample prior to being mailed to comply with all U.S. Postal regulations. If you intend to collect a large number of paper surveys, we can facilitate identifying additional resources such as Object Character Recognition (OCR) technology.
