Family medicine sub-internship (Northeast)

The family medicine sub-internship at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre reflects the experience of our resident physicians on their inpatient medicine rotation while offering an inside look into our busy outpatient clinic. 

During the inpatient portion of the rotation, the sub-intern will be an active member of the family medicine inpatient team, which sees a robust service of patients, including an emphasis on continuity patients from the Family Medicine Residency Outpatient Clinic. The team consists of students, residents and an attending. The outpatient portion will allow the sub-intern to work closely with more of the resident physicians and interact with the residency core faculty.
