The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Inc. is recognized by the United States Department of Education to accredit programs of clinical education for clergy, other religious personnel and lay persons. Four accredited units of CPE fulfill requirements for certification by the College of Chaplains and the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
