Geisinger’s Rheumatology Fellowship is a two-year program that accepts four fellows each year — two level-one trainees and two level-two trainees. Applicants must have completed a residency in internal medicine and be board eligible.
The fellowship participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Application requirements include:
- Completed ERAS application
- Personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation
- Dean's letter
- Medical school transcript
- COMLEX or USMLE transcript
- ECFMG
We don’t have a cutoff score for board exams, but we expect candidates to have passed on the first attempt. We hold interviews in September and October. If, after reviewing your application, you’re selected to interview, we’ll notify you and schedule an interview.
