Why I chose Geisinger: I chose Geisinger Northeast because of their dedication to training quality and well-rounded orthopaedic surgeons while also valuing the importance of family. From the first meet-and-greet to now, they’ve demonstrated that there is synergy between the two. It’s refreshing to be a member of a program that’s breaking stereotypes of this profession.

Why I chose Geisinger: I was drawn to the opportunity to be part of the inaugural class at Geisinger Northeast. And the opportunity to help establish a culture of excellence and commitment to a region with a great need for musculoskeletal care.

Hobbies: NBA basketball (Knicks fan), swimming, improving my top golf game, playing ukulele and being an amateur barber (as of late)

Why I chose Geisinger: The combination of faculty from some of the top orthopaedic programs in the country, the variety and breadth of a busy Level I trauma center, the resources of a major community-centered health system and outstanding mentorship model are all part of what make this an outstanding orthopaedic residency program. I’m excited for the opportunity to help build this program from the ground up.
Clinical interests: Shoulder instability, hip-spine relationship, fracture fixation of any kind.
