Apply/contact - Specialty Pharmacy and Specialty Clinics Residency

The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is in pre-candidate status through the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). We have 1 residency position and participate in the ASHP Resident Matching Program as well as the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS). To apply, you must submit the following materials via PhORCAS:

• Letter of intent outlining career objectives
• Curriculum vitae
• Pharmacy school transcripts
• 3 professional recommendations

Also required are a PharmD or equivalent degree (from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited school or college) and to be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Licensure requirements are available at the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy website. Applicants should successfully complete all of Geisinger’s pre-employment requirements and be eligible to be employed in the United States as a pharmacy resident for the duration of the program.
