Tristan Maiers, PharmD
Research Interests
Tristan Maiers, PharmD is an assistant professor, clinical research within the Center for Pharmacy Innovations and Outcomes and a clinical pharmacist with Hematology/Oncology. After completing two years of residency at Geisinger, he continued his career with the health system to focus on research to optimize the care of patients with malignancies. He has been involved with creating a ProvenCare® for multiple myeloma to optimize treatment, allowing a systematic approach to providing the most evidence-based and cost-effective medications to be given to patients. Maiers is also involved with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), working in leadership roles with the New Practitioners’ Forum Career Development Advisory Group. His primary interests include solid tumor malignancies, cancer prevention, and palliative medicine.Recent Publications
