Office of Health Equity and Inclusion
Create a culture of belonging with us.
The Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and Geisinger College of Health Sciences is committed to fostering an inclusive environment for students, faculty, staff and community members. Creating a culture of belonging means embracing diversity and celebrating the differences that strengthen our community. We can promote equitable healthcare by ensuring diverse representation in the learning environment and the workforce. Our efforts are aimed at implementing practices that welcome and honor the unique identity and perspective of every person.

Flags
Visitors to our Medical Sciences Building are most impressed by one thing: our flags! Hanging in the sunlit space of the lobby, the flags represent almost every country in the world. Everyone delights in finding their own flag. It’s one colorful way Geisinger College represents the cultural identities and family heritages of everyone in the community. In partnership with our facilities operations, the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion is proud to support this initiative honoring the vibrant tapestry of our college and local communities.
