Academic and professional performance

Academic and professional performance of all Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) degree candidates is reviewed at the close of each term by the committee on graduate academic and professional performance. All degree candidates are required to maintain a minimum average GPA of 2.25 to remain in good academic standing and progress to the next academic term. For MBS students who do not meet the minimum average GPA of 2.25 at the end of the fall term, MBS degree candidacy will be rescinded.

An MBS degree will be conferred by Geisinger Commonwealth to students who have complied the required 33 credit hours of coursework with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25.
