Evan Liddington, PharmD
Pharmacy school: Wilkes University
Interests: Heme/onc with additional interest in peds, cardiology and ID
Why Geisinger?: “I chose Geisinger because of the unique location this health system has, and the impact pharmacists are able to make. As a large academic institution in a rural area, you are exposed to a variety of disease states you may not see elsewhere. This variety allows for practice in multiple specialized areas, which develops deeper clinical backgrounds. Pharmacists are also at the forefront of treatment within the hospital, and they have well respected positions among medical teams. This truly allows you to practice at the top of your license and develops you as a clinician.”

Rosine Richa, PharmD, BCPS
Pharmacy school: Saint Joseph’s University, formerly known as the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia
Interests: Oncology/hematology, critical care, infectious disease, education/academia
Why Geisinger?: “The members of the residency faculty have always been respectful and supportive of me, from my first meeting with them at the ASHP Midyear meeting, during my residency interview with them, and throughout my residency training. The residency faculty members are brilliant, well-trained experts in their respective fields, and I have learned so much from them thus far. The wealth of information and valuable feedback they provide has been so helpful for. I really like how the residency program offers a great variety of exposure to different patient populations as well as lots of opportunities to practice at the top of my license. Since I also have an interest in educating and academia, I was attracted to the opportunities to support & educate medical students and residents and to serve as an integral part of the medical team.”
