Welcome to AtlantiCare Campus (Atlantic City)

MD classes 2025, 2026 and 2027 only

Where you’ll learn

AtlantiCare is an integrated system, and its region’s largest healthcare organization and largest non-casino employer. There are more than 6,000 staff and providers serving the community in more than 110 locations in five southern New Jersey counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May and southern Ocean.

You’ll learn and work at two hospitals:

They offer a combined:

  • 1,065 physicians and providers
  • 593 licensed beds
  • Advanced certification for comprehensive stroke centers and primary stroke centers
  • Advanced certification for inpatient diabetes care
  • Center for cardiac care
  • Atlantic City's only cancer institute, heart institute, and neonatal intensive care unit

AtlantiCare is the sponsoring institution for ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Psychiatry programs. It’s also home to a PGY 1 ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency program and rotating medical residents from different institutions in the tri-state area.

Where you’ll live

Atlantic City is known as the “Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore.” It’s a walkable city with plenty to do — and is particularly known for its casinos and nightlife. You’ll find a wide variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options.

The city is surrounded by historical landmarks like the Absecon Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the nation.
