A message from our program director

Welcome, and thanks for your interest in the Geisinger Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center. We are one of the oldest gastroenterology fellowships in the country, and we strive to give our fellows the best experience to be ready for anything after fellowship. We have a strong focus in advanced endoscopy with five advanced endoscopists constantly pushing the boundaries of endoscopy. We also have a multidisciplinary and integrative approach to transplant hepatology, nutrition support, bariatrics, IBD, pelvic floor dysfunction and GI malignancy. Geisinger is the only tertiary care center in the area, which gives our fellows expansive exposure to vast pathology. And with multiple satellite hospitals and clinics, they can also experience community medicine. We work to produce strong clinicians and proceduralists, so we listen to feedback from our fellows to continually improve. If you have any questions about the program, reach out to me or our program administrator.
